About PeerPizza
Fast, private, peer-to-peer file sharing.
PeerPizza is a free file-sharing tool built around a simple idea: your files should go straight from your device to the person you are sharing with — not sit on someone else's server. It uses WebRTC to create a direct, encrypted connection between two browsers, so most transfers never touch a server at all.
How It Works
- P2P mode: Files stream directly browser-to-browser. There is no upload step and no file size limit beyond what your connection allows.
- Quick mode: For when the other person isn't online yet — small files are stored briefly and shared with a link.
- Relay mode: Larger files get a temporary 24-hour link, then are automatically deleted.
Why We Built It
Most file-sharing services ask you to sign up, upload your files to their cloud, and trust them with your data. PeerPizza takes the opposite approach — no sign-up required, and a peer-to-peer core that keeps your files private by default. It works on any modern browser and installs as a PWA on mobile and desktop.
